NIRSport2

The NIRSport2 is a compact and portable system that allows for full-head (32x32) coverage to enable imaging of cortical brain networks. It offers the use of a variety of probe types and is designed for increased sensitivity and comfort. It is also fully MR-compatible, allowing for concurrent fNIRS-fMRI scans. NIRSport2 has the highest number of sources and detectors available on the market, which maximizes spatial resolution of fNIRS data.

NIRSport1

The NIRSport1 is the predecessor for the NIRSport2. It allows for a maximum for 16x16 sources/detectors.

NIRScoutXP

The NIRScout is a user-friendly, modular, and robust functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) platform which measures hemodynamic responses to neuroactivation via oxy-, deoxy-, and total hemoglobin changes in the cerebral cortex. It comes with either high performance LEDs, lasers or multi-wavelength laser sources and either value SiPD or best-in-class APD detectors allowing for flexibility. CIBSR's NIRScout XP configuration contains 8 Laser/16 LED/ 16 APD and a set of 10m MRI compatible ultra-flat-tipped fibers (8 sources x 8 detectors) for concurrent NIRS & fMRI measurements.

NIRxBorealis

NIRxBorealis performs dual-wavelength continuous-wave fNIRS on large tissue structures at high (several Hz) sampling rates in a time-multiplexed, scanning fashion. The use of powerful laser sources and ultra-sensitive Avalanche Photodiode detectors allows for diffuse transmission measurements up to ~4 cm, making it suitable for optical tomographic ('multi-distance') imaging which extends the depth of recording. The NIRxBorealis can be used with NIRSport2 amplifiers with fiber-based laser stimulation and ADP detectors. This allows concurrent fMRI and fNIRS recordings and then the co-analysis of fNIRS and fMRI results.
